The longer-priced end of the card, tracked separately
The performance record we publish is based on one staked bet per race between 2/1 and 5/1. Longer-priced runners still appear on the main card — they are just outside that staking band, so they have never been measured. This page measures them.
These are tracked at zero stake. They are not backed, not recommended, and are not part of the performance figures published on the rest of the site. We are running them to find out whether the signal is real. On the evidence so far it is not — the 5/1 to 20/1 band has returned roughly −28% over the last nine weeks.
The running record below is published unedited, including losing runs. If it stays negative, this page stays a test and these picks never get backed.
Maximum one per race · SP 5/1–20/1 · average SP drop 50%+
Selection: one runner per race at most, priced 5/1 to 20/1, with an average SP drop of 50% or better, taking the best-rated runner available. Runners the model has explicitly rejected on category grounds are never eligible here either.
